Easy to Install – 1. Insert the mandrel directly into the sanding belt. Before use, make sure the sanding drum is tightly fixed on the mandrel. 2. During use, turn off the rotary tool periodically to check the sanding drum. Make sure there is enough grit on the belt before continuing.
Rotary tools can run at very high rotation speeds. High rotation speeds with small tools such as sanding drums can create a lot of friction and heat buildup. Make sure your sanding drum and mandrel do not get too hot. When changing sanding drums, consider using medium speeds and alternating mandrels to reduce heat buildup.
