Description
Dimensions: 30 x 30 x 50 cm, Thai triangular cushion with traditional cover and kapok filling is suitable as a head, back or leg cushion
Kapok (Malaian), also called plant down, is the fibre of the kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra)
It comes from the 1.5 to 4 cm long fibres of the fruit of the tree growing in the tropics
The fibres have a fine wax coating, which on the one hand causes them not to be spinnable, but on the other hand has the advantage that the hair is not wettable
They are therefore often used as filling mattresses
