DEEP ANKLE CUFF – The Boxia Plus is more durable and supportive, utilising a deeper ankle cuff for added support, double Achilles gel padding for comfort, D-loop fastenings for added security and an improved anti-slip lace hook attachment for effective support.
FEATURES – An elastic traction band keeps the ankle in a neutral position and connects the supramalleolar part to the S hooks or the hook to the footwear. The anti-slip hook attaches to the footwear and a strap that is secured to the laces prevents undesirable movement.
CONVENIENT – The Boxia Plus also utilises a one-handed closure system, which is a major advantage for patients with limited dexterity. Machine washable at 30C. Suitable for left or right and available in 3 sizes.
IDEAL FOR – Post operative and post trauma. Flaccid footdrop. Dorsiflexion weakness in swing phase, control for mild tonal plantarflexion from Cerebral palsy, neurological conditions such as CVA’s, musculature weakness, and tendon shortening. Improves gait, toe clearance, balance and co-ordination.
